 The
K1-A Little Lambs class is working around interesting
programs of inquiry which guide the children in understanding
key concepts and development of skills and attitudes.
These are interrelated themes of global importance and
are supported and balanced by subject areas such as
Arts, Language, Math, Science, Social Studies and etc.
Literacy is the main focus of the class and the children
are participating in a wide variety of regular learning
experiences provided by the program of inquiry to practice
shared, guided and independent reading and to develop
writing skills.

Lambクラスでは、テーマ学習（プログラムオブインクワイアリー）に沿って、様々な概念を学び、知識の吸収、社交性や運動能力などの成長を促します。また、芸術、言語学習、算数、理科、社会などの要素をとりいれ、バランスの取れた教科を関連付けて学習しています。言語学習はクラス指導の主となるカリキュラムでもあり、子ども達はテーマ学習や読み聞かせなどの時間を通して、読み書き能力も習得しています。
A
typical day in the Little Lambs class includes literacy-rich
group or individual activities in line with the program
of inquiry being learned, fun Gym and Music classes,
and other enjoyable subject area activities that serve
the children's interests best. The class highly regards
teamwork and we are having fun learning and growing
together here in Kansai International School! :)
Ｌｉｔｔｌｅ Ｌａｍｂｓクラスの一日は、言語学習レッスンとそれに関連したテーマ学習（ＰＯＩ）レッスンをグループや個々に行い、楽しい体操や音楽の時間や、その他子ども達の興味にあった様々な活動をしながら過ごします。思いやることを大切にし、関西インターナショナルスクールで楽しみながら、共に成長していける毎日をとても楽しんでいます！

We can read! We love reading! We love learning new things!!
K-2 class starts to read a lot of words and books by
ourselves!! We practice "sound it out" to
read a lot of words. Also, we start to learn "addition".
We use a lot of games to learn. We love to discover
new things everyday!!
